With Appreciation…

Sometimes circumstances beyond our control turn our lives upside down. Thus was the call on August 27 from my step-sister. What appeared to be tragedy for one parent turned suddenly to the other. My step-mother’s sudden death though shocking, was actually a blessing. Her path to mid to late stages of Alzheimer’s was taking it’s toll on my father mentally and physically (thus his hospitalization in August). She went peacefully and in her sleep, something we all desire in our final stage of life. At 89 years, she had a full and rewarding life – and leaves behind a legacy and memory we will all remember.

I appreciate the prayers and faithfulness of family, friends and followers during this time. Allowing me to heal and readjust.

God Bless,

Susan
